Dr G. Hotos Lab-Greece- Rotifers, Brachionus plicatilis, male

Below can be seen a male unique of Brachionus plicatilis. It is deemed only as “a sperm sac” with an unique aim of fertilizing a mictic woman. It lacks digestive technique (and has no mastax).Very small spermatozoaria shifting in its testis are seen. A popular red “eye place” can also be seen. The dark mass at the posterior is pretty popular but its job is unsure. Protruding at the posterior is the “penis” and upcoming to it the two clawed “foot”.
